LOCAL MARKET UPDATE
The local real estate market – already the hottest in the country – set yet another price record in April. The number of homes for sale dropped 27 percent compared to a year ago, the lowest amount of inventory ever recorded for a spring month. The historically low supply of homes is making competition among buyers fierce. Sellers are in the enviable position of being able to structure sales agreements to include concessions such as rent-backs and longer closing time so they can take the time to find their next home.
Topo Swope is a woman of many talents. Not only has she created and run one of the largest and most successful talent agencies in Seattle for many moons, but her love and dedication to animals, most especially rescue animals, precedes her. After a lengthy lay-up with multiple hip surgeries, Topo resumed her passion for mosaics and has been a member of Seattle Mosaic Arts ever since. She only does animals, and finds it is a special way to pay homage to the animals she so admires
and those who have passed on.
Today, Topo has grown her passion to include personal commissions of your favorite pet immortalized in beautiful glass. These pieces have a life and beauty all their own and for those who are looking for that special gift they are the perfect choice and the prices are very reasonable.
My personal favorite is the fox, but truly all of Topo’s creations have a lovely charm and whimsical quality to them. To see more of Topo’s mosaics or to commission a personalized way to honor your pet, please call Topo directly at: 206-799 7972.
Also Seattle Mosaic Arts is having their 8th Anniversary Party June 3rd with a special exhibit. Stop by for a look at other artists or to learn more about this beautiful art form.
