Despite the typical seasonal surge in new listings, supply in our area continued to fall far short of demand in March. With just two weeks of available inventory in every market, competition for homes was intense. The result was another month of double-digit price increases as compared to a year ago. The region has now led the country in home price increases for 17 months in a row. The prediction for the spring market: hot with no signs of cooling.

Eastside Equestrian Life Business of the Month for April, 2018

Kim Harris Graphites

The relationship you have with a pet is the best kind of unique: priceless, and indescribable. To encapsulate this kind of connection in a piece of art can be tricky, but Kim Harris of Kim Harris Graphites captures it with precision and passion.

Focusing specifically on horses and dogs, Kim truly knows how to embody the spirit of whomever your companion may be, bringing to life their personality and everything they mean to you. Having owned horses and dogs her entire life, Kim has a relationship and understanding of both, and excels at sharing that through her work.

Kim says: “Every animal portrait I draw is unique. I understand the love and the joy they add to our daily life. I strive to capture every nuance that makes your pet special. From the fur, specific markings, and the eyes, my goal is to recreate the animal’s soul looking back at you. Creating a portrait of your pet is more than just a picture. Drawing animals, especially pets, are my passion, because after all they aren’t just pets, they are family.”
