LOCAL MARKET UPDATE

As the year winds down, the local real estate market trends are up. Both the number of sales and the median sale price in King County increased over a year ago. We’ve also seen a gradual slowing of appreciation over the past several months, a good indication that we will avoid another boom-bust cycle. While there still is not enough supply to meet demand, it’s shaping up to be a strong holiday season.

EASTSIDE EQUESTRIAN LIFE BUSINESS OF THE MONTH FOR DECEMBER

Glitter & Ivy

If you are looking for that special equestrian inspired gift for the holidays be sure to stop by Glitter & Ivy in the downtown historic district of Snohomish. Owner, Julie Koppenberg, keeps an entire corner of her vintage inspired store fully stocked with beautiful items for the horse enthusiast.

My favorite creation is Julie’s Christmas tree decorated with her daughter’s show ribbons and topped with a riding helmet!

Holiday Special: all “Horse Whispers” collection items are an additional 25% off. Pictured here is “Pride and Joy.”
